I wanted ticky boxes on the Dr. Who question so that I could check more than one. *grin* Who fen are notoriously off, and I am positive that lots of wanky stuff goes on somewhere, but all the ones I know personally are my favorite kind of fan: the kind that can love on the show one minute, mock it for being dumb the next, nitpick some random detail to death and write a huge awesome fanfic to "fix" it and make it continuous with the rest of canon...and then go right back to loving some more.
