Hmmm. I do the same, which is where I got the caution from in the first place.

On the other hand, I also got photos of Paterson Joseph, apparently a leading contender for Eleven, which is what got me thinking seriously about the show in the first place. :)

I love the Doctor. I have been a fan for years and years. I steer clear of all the Who fandoms though.

I wanted ticky boxes on the Dr. Who question so that I could check more than one. *grin* Who fen are notoriously off, and I am positive that lots of wanky stuff goes on somewhere, but all the ones I know personally are my favorite kind of fan: the kind that can love on the show one minute, mock it for being dumb the next, nitpick some random detail to death and write a huge awesome fanfic to "fix" it and make it continuous with the rest of canon...and then go right back to loving some more.
